Herbal Elixir Tea's

The History Behind Chinese Herbal Elixr Tea's

Chinese medicine dates back almost 3,000 years to such legendary figures as Shen Nong (the Divine Farmer) and Huang Di (the Yellow Emperor. Its basic concepts were established at a time when people lived closer to nature. Energy flow or Qi flow, a close association with basic Elemental forces, and the influence of Heat and Cold, were all believed to have a great influence on well-being.

Traditional Chinese Medicine belive's that every herb has a particular nature or energy (Qi). From this philosophy Chinese doctors create herbal formula to treat every conceivable condition. This has been created into Herbal Elixir Tea's. In the strict sense they are not teas as few have any tea in them, but as with teas they are made with hot water in a pot or plunger. Our Elixir Tea's are balanced with the traditional therapeutic effect, with taste to produce a range of Elixirs which are easy to prepare, pleasant to drink and keep their traditional medical basis.

Energy Tea
Qi is the activator of organ function and impels nourishing blood throughout the system. Qi declines where there is insufficient supply to support the body's Qi consuming activities. This formulation uses a number of the most outstanding energy tonics available in the world today to replace lost Qi. Two of the principal ingredients are Reishi and White Ginseng.  Reishi, once reserved for royalty, is a mushroom herb which builds up the body's Qi and also calms the mind. Modern research promotes its polysaccharide components as having powerful immune building functions. White Ginseng, a famous herb for restoring deeply exhausted core body energies, is the most famous of the adaptogen substances which help the body to resist stress. White Ginseng is also known as female ginseng and is more energetically balanced than other forms of ginseng.
